Layers of sadness and shame
ME:

Some of you know that I don't share personal stuff here often. Some of you have read my other blog and know more... A few remember that I have a journal that reveals some deep inner feelings.

How many suspect that even there I don't really share?

I have so many layers of sadness and shame.

They cling to me like onion skins. I could spend my whole lifetime peeling.

So, I'm in Perez Zeledon and frustrated that I continue to not always do what is best for me. I'm learning slowly here in Costa Rica that I mustn't trust people unless I know them well. I'm also being reminded of exactly how uptight I really am.

Other than that I'm mostly fine. Up at 6 am. Caught the 10 am bus from San Vito (a three hour ride). I stayed there three nights and am tempted to stay here another day as well. I get real tired if I "run" every day.

Food? Doing well. I liked the sweet-salty cheese empanadas I bought at Pasteleria La Flor in SV. Also tried chiskey (gelatin over solid condensed milk) which was interesting. As before, I'm not as hungry here as in Montana. Had a peach-milk drink this evening. *Wink*

My confidence level is rising (as far as traveling in Costa Rica is concerned). I could be a "guide" after a couple more trips. *Delight*

Moving here may be an option.
