Life is a beach
Costa Rica, Quepos. Sunny morning.

ME:

Doing okay today. I return to San José (yes, I know the way) after three nights in this tropical region on the Pacific.

After a horrible trip down, I found out that there had been a major storm. Looked like a tornado had come through. Since it hit without warning after dark folks told me it was terrifying. The National Park, Manuel Antonio, is still closed and yesterday buses went only part way. Walking uphill with my back pack took 2 hours Thursday. Only an hour without it yesterday.

Lucky for me the Joseth Market had electricity so I was able to purchase a liter of pear juice. ($1.50)

So... after one miserable night without water and electricity I stayed in Quepos at the Wide Mouthed Frog. Very peaceful. Met folks from Canada, Kansas, Switzerland (French and German speaking), Germany, Israel, France...

I highly recommend this place.

But... at noon I'm on the bus!

I visit a friend today in San José and then? Don't know. *Smile*
