Post Depression?
Cabaret was canceled last night so I drowned my sorrows in chocolate milk.

ME:

No plans... Yes, I have goals and objectives for my writing but no publication plans, even for business cards or giveaway copies of my writings. Sad. I've done this before. Lots of work, but it does have rewards. Gave Myra a copy of Trash.1 yesterday and need to do a Gzaibun.2 booklet as well as one on Blood of the Garlic.

Tricia greeted me with a "Bienvenidas a Missoula" today. Welcome to Missoula? True... been gone a lot. Travel is great but exhausting and I do miss weekly gatherings. Saw some folks at the Spanish Circle for the first time in months.

Took notes last night along the river. Saw a beaver dragging a branch of poplar. *Smile*

I am so glad to be at the stage of "post-depression". I was penniless for quite a long time. While others are fretting over loss of jobs and possible loss of everything, I can rest assured that since I already lost everything, I have nothing to fret about. *Smile* ...but a weak smile...

Keetje Kuipers reads from her newly published book of poetry tonight. It won the 2009 A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize. I'm reading it beforehand. *Delight*
