Barchans

We see squadrons of sandships
sand grains tumbling over sand;
we rest in this lea
of a battle windward bound.

Deep in long shadows
sun sparkling off its crested brow
small bits of us
sigh for us to follow

swift flight of hot winds.
To be one with the sand,
a blanket of sand,
burying yesterday under tomorrow.

Barchans are a type of crescent shaped sand dunes. I just got lost in thoughts. *Rolleyes*

Other than old poems and chapters in geology? I have my eyes on a recent book of Western poets. *Smile*
