It's summer in Las Vegas. I like to carry bottles of water when Mom and I go out. I don't like the taste of the local water. The cold water at my kitchen sink and bathroom sink are turned off because they leaked; actually it was more of a study stream of water coming from the facets. I turned the cold water off in both rooms.

I buy plastic bottles of drinking water. I put the bottles in my refrigerator or freezer because I like to drink cold water. I recycle the plastic bottles by taking them to the curb every two weeks. I separate the plastic water bottles from the other plastic bottles. I do this because before the recyclable trucks empty the bins, people come past and take the plastic water bottles out of the bins so they can sell them. It's easier for everyone if the plastic water bottles are separated from other recycled plastic bottles.

Today, I bought 4 case of 24 count bottles for $10.00. I didn't have a problem lifting the cases into or out of the shopping cart. The problem occurred when I went to carry the cases into the house. I wore myself out carrying those cases from the car to the house, but I got them into the house. Now all I have to do is get them into the kitchen before my mother decides that she can pick them up and carry them to the kitchen.
