Sunny and Warm
There is a high-pressure weather front in Las Vegas, with “above normal high temperatures” predicted. Yesterday the technician from Rebel Refrigeration checked my heating unit for the winter. I had him turn the unit off because I did not figure on using the cool air any more this year and it’s still too early to turn the heat on. If I leave the unit off, the power bill goes down dramatically.
It’s the “above normal” temperatures that worry me because if they get too much above normal, I may have to turn the cool air back on. I don’t want to do that because if I can keep the unit off for a couple of months we might be able to catch up on the power bill. As it is, I’m not planning on turning the heat on before Thanksgiving unless I look out my window and see snow on the ground.
