More Snow Melt

Soup time is here

This morning I woke up to a cold house, all right the house probably wasn’t as cold as it felt. I checked the thermostat and it read 69 degrees. This is nice weather in Las Vegas because it isn’t too cold or too hot. The air seemed damp, so perhaps that it why I thought it was cold.

This soup weather and I have to start considering fixing soup more often. We have two cans of chicken noodle soup, but that isn’t going to last use until Thanksgiving, so I have to start consider homemade soup. I’m not sure what type of soup I’ll make because it depends on the type of canned good on hand and the amount of leftovers in the refrigerate. I have to check the type of ingredients I have on hand and see what I can create.

This is NaNoWriMo, so perhaps I’ll create a soup in honor of National Novel Writing Month. I can put the ingredients in the slow cooker and we will have soup all day long. At least, that way I don’t have to worry about meal preparation interrupting writing.
