More Snow Melt

We have heat

We have heat for the first time since Thanksgiving. I am warm. I completed NaNoWriMo in the cold. I wore three or four layers of clothing while I wrote the last of the novel, but I completed 50,000 words in the cold. I am warm and Mom is warm.

Since Thanksgiving Mom has been crying at night because she is cold and nobody cared that she was cold, I was cold as well. I was cold and I had only one blanket, Mom had four or five blankets. Mom is happy and singing; I hope she continues to sing. I hope she does not cry tonight, but I will wait and see on that front.

I may continue to gripe because of the power bill, but I am warm now. I am not worried about the power bill tonight. My only decision now is how high I want the thermostat set. I have it sit at 79 degrees now, however, I am going to lower it to about 75 degrees later tonight.
