More Snow Melt

Today was a good day, I think

I think today was a good day. I managed to get Mom out of bed before 11:00 AM. She took all her pills today without too much trouble. She is going to tell the doctor that she does not need them. I finally finished folding the cloths that we washed yesterday and I have two baskets of cloths ready to take to the laundromat later this week. In addition, Mom agreed to take a sponge bath without too much trouble.

I will be glad when the new shower in the bathroom is in because Mom will enjoy a shower. A shower is also easier for her then getting in and out of a bathtub. Mom has a shower seat, which does not fit in the bathtub. It will fit in the new shower when it is in and it will be easier to get Mom to take a shower then a bath.

Mom has an appointment with a new doctor tomorrow at 7:30 AM. I am not looking forward to getting her up that early, but this was the only time the new doctor had open and I wanted her to see this doctor rather then any other on the new HMO list. I am going to have to get two of her meds refilled tomorrow and I am not sure of the prices because one of them is a tier 2 med, but I will find the money. I may have to put off the next trip to the laundromat for a week or two.

I will deal with whatever I have to deal with tomorrow. Tonight, I will get everything ready to go to the doctor.
