The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow |
Istiqlál (Independence), 10 Sultán (Sovereignty), 167 BE – Friday, January 28, 2011 about 5:06 PM Pacific Time Tomorrow is Saturday, trash and recyclable day. I have to have the trashcan and the recyclable bins out to the curb by 6:30 AM. That means I have to get up when the alarm goes off. Alternatively, I could stay up all night, which may be a better idea. I’m glad today is Friday, all though I’m not sure why. Friday doesn’t end my work week. I still have plenty to do tomorrow and I won’t be able to go to the laundromat this week. I’m not worrying about the laundromat any more because I’ve decided to do what wash I can here at home. I don’t like the idea of doing laundry by hand, but I’ll do it. I’ll do what I have to do and attempt to stop complaining. Complaining always makes the situation worse. I think instead of complaining I’ll say a prayer of gratitude. That is probably the best way to handle the situation. Maybe I’ll write a poem or a story. This year has started out weird; things just don’t seem to be falling into place. Maybe I need to take a different approach, a different view. Anyway TGIF. |
