Saw my first iris...
...it was blooming on campus; it was blue; it was beautiful. *FlowerB* But... can't share it because Verizon's internet connection sucks. *Cry*

ME:

Went for a long walk down the Kim William's Trail. Decided not to climb; haven't been feeling 100% and I was walking alone. My new boots are working out fine though. Ice, slush, mud; it's all good.

Took notes but I'm at the campus library where they limit access. They didn't used to... but control, control, control...

Just saw Andrea Miller. She gave me a copy of her new poem, "Become things". Unfortunately, she'll miss the next poetry reading. Poor baby will be visiting Seattle. *Shock* I told her to visit the fish market. *Wink*

Life can be good if I don't let it bug me.

Bug.

Saw a stonefly or something similar today as well. Slowly, Spring is perking up around here. We even had some sunshine! It got up to 52º today. That's what it ought to be.

Last night I attended a reading by Susan Orlean who wrote Orchard Thief. She read from her upcoming work on Rin Tin, the WW1 german-shepard. If you ever get the chance to hear her read, go! She's absolutely wonderful to listen to.

So, I've already entered in my journal, did facebook (what I could) and had a small peanut butter cookie. Life can definitely be good.
