Think about writing a Costa Rica travel book...
Yep. ...think about writing a Costa Rica travel book...

That's what Leger~ wrote...

ME:

...but what about NaNo?

I had a weird (for me) dream about being interred in a prison camp with my best friend. What's weird is that we were both in the dream (usually he's not there and I can't find him and that's even more stressful). In spite of everything, it had a good ending (the foreign movie kind, not Hollywood) as I was scrubbing his healed wounds in a tub. Placed in Japan... I don't dream about Japan.

So... there's a thread for NaNo there. A strong one as it is vivid enough to be outlined. I think I can even handle the gruesome parts as I did in the dream. A "don't mess with my friend" approach. Cliche? Sure... but odd enough for me that I ought to pursue it.

About a travel book...

I just posted in updates before reading her note:

I will need to choose the best photos of England and write a narrative. 100 should suffice! My favorite so far is the picture I took of Mavis Moog's two dogs, Roger and Crispin, at Eccles Pike. I won't be finished much before November. Got more photos off my cellphone today. Need to work on Costa Rica as well. Have 800 on-line. It's a matter of choosing one of many stories and finding the appropriate photo. Wish Mandy Maxfield Howe were here to help. Photo journalism is her area of expertise.

Ah... Mandy... she knows how to write photo journalism. I'll just have to learn. Even if I don't do anything professionally with it it will be a good exercise and help me present the photos to my friends. Random photos or 150 photos of the same castle/orchid/wedding/party... does not make for good story-telling.

In other snews: took a picture of carrots. At $4 for a bunch they are expensive. Bought peaches, pears, a yellow watermelon. Ate rice today and drank too much coffee. I need to regulate coffee before a doctor tells me to.
