Today’s defining song is running through my mind

March 21, 2012, Wednesday, Day 21 ~ 30-Day Blogging Challenge prompt is "“If you could select one song to best describe what kind of day you are having, what would that song be?”

I guess the song that described my day is the one running through my head. It began running through my head this morning. It has continued almost unabated through the day. I say almost because it does retreat to my unconscious or subconscious mind and random intervals.

The song that has haunted me all day is “We’ll Sing in the Sunshine”. I like this song. All though it is not my favorite song, I have always liked this song. The good thing about having this song running through my head is that it affects my mood.

I can’t become depressed when the only words I want to sing out loud is “We’ll sing in the sunshine.” This isn’t a depressing song, of course, I find very few songs depressing especially the ones I want to sing at the top of my lungs. This is all right when I’m at home or driving with all the windows rolled up in my car.
