I want the bathroom redecorated

March 28, 2012, Wednesday, Day 28 ~ 30-Day Blogging Challenge prompt is "If you were going to redecorate your home, what would you change?"

I would change the master bath. We have two bathrooms in this house, but we can only use one for a shower. The shower other bathroom, the master bath, cannot be used. It is a sunken bathtub shower combination. The tiles are coming off, plus it has steps down into the bathtub and I cannot let Mom use it because she would fall and hurt herself. I cannot use it myself for the same reason.

I will not use it because if I fell, there would be no one to pick me up. In addition, I do not want to use it because the tiles on the wall are coming off and I do not want to make the problem worse. I have asked about redoing that room. The floor in the sunken bath needs rising, which is the reason I have not had it done. The cost of raising the floor is prohibitive.

If I could redecorate this house, I would have that bathroom redone. I would have the floor raised. I would have the tiles replaced. I would have the bathroom painted lavender. I think a lavender bathroom would be beautiful. I could live with a lavender bathroom because it is such a pleasant color. I would have a roll in shower. I would have a new toilet stool. I would have everything new in that bathroom. I would buy towels and washcloths to go only in the lavender bathroom. I would scent the room with lavender.
