Another plate full of the meat and vegetables of my life.

Slow shrinkage
I've been on two long hikes this week.

The first was a sponsored walk for the air/ambulance service involving many steep inclines and a lot of hard work. The scenery and views made it worthwhile as did the amount of money raised for this worthy cause which relies solely on donations.

The second was today with my rambler's group. A much gentler but longer walk in glorious sunshine and a very enjoyable pub lunch.

I reckon I've walked at least twenty miles this week, plus a swimming session. I've lived on salads, chicken, fish, veggies and fruit. I have eaten no red meat, cheese, biscuits, cakes or sweets.

I've even cut down dramatically on my booze intake and drunk lots of water and herbal tea.

I stepped on my Wii this morning and it informed me I have lost ONE whole pound. Well, whoopdedoo. *Rolleyes*

But then I did have my hair cut this week too so it could be down to that. I conclude diets and exercise don't work, but hey at least some decent weather has arrived.

NO ice cream for me though. I shall shed those extra pounds one way or another...I will...I will...I will.

Tomorrow.
