Calming nerves
Yes, it's over.

Actually slam-dunk for me. The issues and races I cared about most went my way. The others? Well, nothing is 100% guaranteed.

ME:

My nerves will slowly get better ... but ... snowstorm scheduled and bitter cold and I'm not quite ready for that and ... did I mention I'm on a jet plane on Tuesday.

I'm so not ready... At least I don't have to plan on moving to Costa Rica. I'll just be visiting.

Why would I move? My nerves, my nerves...

Costa Rica is frustrating at times but culturally the people are nice and in general it's less stressful. Folks tell me Thailand is nice in that way as well.

And cheap. If income becomes a problem I'll have to consider moving regardless.

In other news. Spent the evening among drunks and wannabe-drunks and young folks at the Union Club. Lots of cheering, drinking, screaming and ... drinking.

Today: nice discussion at Socrates Club. My last till February.

No further progress on my to-do list. In the end, things get done or they don't. *Pthb*

Sensed or senseless:

Taste: egg
Sight: fancy cakes (got photos) today; last night the strain of watching TVs.
Sound: real, I mean real, annoying, screeching voices last night. My poor ears.
Touch: soft navy fleece blanket.
Within: a calming ... slowly.
Smell: sweet-smelling farts ...therefore, not my own.
