We cry for lots of reasons: sadness, pain, fear . . . and happiness. When was the last time you shed tears of joy?

Tears of joy and happiness
wash dust
from the mirror of my soul.

When was the last time I shed tears of joy? There are four things that cause me to shed tears of joy and those are reading (1) a prayer revealed by Baha'u'llah, (2) a prayer revealed by The Bab, (3) a prayer written by 'Abdu'l-Baha, and (4) a poem. So to answer the question, I shed tears of joy last night because I read a prayer revealed by Baha'u'llah.

Tears of happiness and joy,
water the soil of my faith
with sunbeams and rain drops.

Tears of joy and happiness,
shed by my grateful soul
for the Glory of God.
