Certain senses can often provoke a memory. A smell, a sound, an image, etc.
Write about a favorite memory that is conjured up by a smell, a song, or any other sense.

The breeze of memory
wafts across my mind
bringing back the aromas
of my childhood.

The smell
of fresh brewed coffee
or the scent
of Prince Albert Smoking Tobacco...
it is late Sunday afternoon
Grandpa
is sitting at the kitchen table
sipping a cup of Folgers coffee
and rolling his cigarettes
for work the next day.

The breeze of memory
wafts across my mind
bringing back the perfumes
of my childhood.

The aroma
of rich dark chocolate
or the bouquet
of hot pumpkin and spices...
it is a cold December afternoon
Grandma
is taking a pumpkin pie
out of the oven
and I am sitting at the kitchen table
sipping a cup of hot coco.
