Another plate full of the meat and vegetables of my life.

Fast Lane
First it was five days, then seven and now eleven. What's happening to time? It's a devil when you struggle to even post a short blog, but that's how it is these days.

In my defence it has been rather a hectic time. First off we had the grandmonsters stay over last weekend, so that means no time or energy left for anything else. Heaven help us when there are three. *Rolleyes* Then I had a funny ear/throat infection which left me feeling dizzy and like a worn out rag.

Then my sister came over for a few days and we spent a lot of time walking and talking, thinking and drinking, laughing and faffing, a bit of weeping and not much sleeping, but certainly no time for blogging.

Sis went home on Friday evening and Saturday was hubby's burpday which meant preparing for a small party of family and friends. Chaos reigned with all the kids in fine form and things went on so late Paul and family decided to stay overnight. So Sunday was another day of chaos followed by a family meal out, a quick clear up and collapsing.

Today I'm squeezing a short blog between a meeting at the hospital regarding hubby's mum's future care and a joyous trip to the supermarket.

The weather continues to be abysmal and I feel like I could sleep for at least a fortnight, so the next gap between blogs could be even longer. I know someone said life is never easy, but couldn't they arrange for it to have intermissions where there's nothing to do but sit still in some sunshine eating ice cream?
