NaPoWriMo--Day 18

Noon-Tide Petals

Flowers call out today,
pinch me, pluck me
place me in a mandala.
Portulaca, Mexican petunia,
gardenia,lilac rose
a time-challenged Christmas cactus
blooming now, in April.
Spread our petals over stone
turn us to compost
making new earth
for Mother.
