On this day in 1775 the Revolutionary war started. What do you think like would be like today if America had lost the war or if it had never started to begin with?

What would life be like if American had lost the Revolutionary wary in 1775...
the Star Spangle Banner would never have been written
we would pay our bills with the British Pound instead of the American dollar
we would build a shrine to Dr. Who
we would have a copy of Big Ben in Time Square
the nation's capital would not be Washington DC
we would have a different set of politicians to bitch about
we would still be complaining about taxation without representation
