Out to Lunch
August 23, 2013

Sharon decided that it was time for us to go out to eat. That is our main source of entertainment. We were going out for my birthday.

"So where do you want to eat?"

me: "How about (I name off several restaurants all on the cheap end of the scale) Subway, Cici's, Chinese food.....

"I know just where to go and I am the driver-hang on for the ride" (all I can think of is here we go again)

We end up at a place called Goveror Stumpy's. The food was real good, but what I liked best were the big televisions. The little league World Series was on! As I tried to keep up with the score Sharon was talking a mile a minute. She was eating a taco salad that was to die for and I ate an Italian sausage sandwich. Connecticut was playing Washington and since I am from New England I was cheering for Connecticut. They were behind 12-5 and ended up winning 14-13. The price of lunch was outrageous as far as I was concerned. At least I got to watch my team win. My wife would have said to anyone wondering:
"He's out to lunch".
