Do you prefer soups or salads?

Soup or salad
the diner's dilemma:
Which goes better with scrambled eggs?

Salad is good with almost any food,
but sometimes I want
a bowl of Albondigas Soup
before I eat
my Fried Ice Cream.

I like green salad with my pasta
and sometimes with my eggs,
but Split Pea Soup is always good
with Country Fried Chicken.

Soup or salad
I can never decide
until I look at a restaurant's menu
because the one I chose
depends upon the main course
I am craving.

Do I prefer soups or salads? I like both soup and salad, which is one of the reasons I like buffets. At a buffet I can have a little bit of both without having to chose. At home, I normally eat one or the other depending on what I have in the refrigerator or in the pantry.
