Under Construction
September 14, 2013

The best way to describe today is under construction. I can see the sign all over as I seek to pass from Kansas city, Kansas to Kansas City, Missouri. There is the promise that it will be done and yet it does not seem soon enough. There are a lot of those areas inside of myself.
1. I have been recently told that I could do a lot better in my security job. It is too easy to get so laid back when nothing is happening that one get complacent. I will work to undo this pattern. It will not be easy.
2. At home, my wife wants more help with chores. Just when I was thinking I was helping I am reminded that a couple can not get the job done alone.
3. Church has been put on hold while I adjust to overnight hours.
4. My tennis elbow is acting up. Ouch! I never thought I'd see the day.
5. I am slowly moving back into running form as the local 5k approaches. Stay tuned.
6. I am glad to hear mom is getting a lot better. Thanks for your prayers. How do I keep in contact without taking over.
7. Miscellaneous

I am under construction. I look forward to the day that I will see the job finished an look back knowing the roads are much easier to traverse than it was in times past.
