Angel of Mercy
Angel of Mercy

I am the angel of mercy
I am the angel of death

I give them sweet oblivion
I take from them life's breath

I am the one they won't ask for
Yet I know they are calling my name

I hold their fate in my hands
And they beg for me all the same

Though relatives my cry and mourn
I know what patients need

I release them from earthly pain
And watch souls slowly bleed

I am the angel of mercy
I am the angel of death
