Are you watching the Olympics? What do you think? Did Russia meet the expectations placed on the host? {Especially with all the hype that was made in the news before the games began} What's your favorite event? Why?

I don't watch the Olympics because I'm not a sports person. I heard about it being held in Russia, but that's about all I know. When I was younger, I used to watch the figure skating events. I think the last time I watched it was the year Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerigan competed. Katarina Witt competed that year too. She was the one I liked, but I thought the judges scored her very low and that she didn't deserve those low scores. I felt the judges were showing a lot of bias because of the country she was from (I forgot the name, but some sort of explosions happened there and most of Witt's family was killed as a result). I stopped watching the Olympics after that.

I've been listening to a song called The Nights by Lee Hazelwood. It's about how the Native Americans were treated long ago. My Dad was 1/4 Chickasaw, making me 1/8 Chickasaw. His father was 1/2.

News In My World

Have you ever had one of those days that seems to be getting worse? My internet is crappy, but I'm under a contract until next year, and the cancellation fee is $200, so I'm stuck with it. My Mom and I got into an argument, but we solved the problem, but the argument was just stressful. I'm behind with reviews for the Novel Workshop. I haven't been able to lose any more weight. I'm still stuck at only being able to lose 7 pounds since Jan 6. I was hoping to have my entire novel edited by now, but I still have 20 more chapters to edit.

Valentine's Day is coming, and that is usually one of the most depressing days of the year for me.

I guess I just needed to vent! LOL!
