If you had to choose an animal to represent yourself, what would it be?

I can't just think of one. I would have my "children" to represent me.

My Min Pin, Josette, would represent the princess in me
My Catahoula, Maggie, would represent my confidence.
My Golden Retriever, Rocky, would represent my intelligence (believe it or not, I've got some hidden in there).

This is one of my favorite songs by Leonard Cohen. It's called Sisters of Mercy. This clip is from a movie called McCabe and Mrs. Miller. If my memory serves me correctly, the song is featured in the movie.

News In My World?

The weather is getting kind of bad. We are under a tornado watch. It's been lightening some out there. I've got my children in from there last bathroom time of the night.

I finished reading a book called The Store by Bentley Little. Y'all should really check it out. I find his writing style inspiring when it comes to studying the horror genre.

I'm planning on participating in a contest here at WDC that centers around winning a merit badge. I forgot the name of it, but I'm entering the one for a Guide merit badge. It's where you write a letter to someone who has inspired you.

It seems like my editing faerie has plateaued, stalled, or left the country because I'm stuck on chapter 31.

My brother had his first interview this since receiving his master's in psychology. It was for a research position at Virginia Tech. He will have another over the phone interview (he found out about this one this afternoon) for a grant writer position at University of Southern Mississippi. I really hope something works out for him soon. I know that God will open the doors necessary according to His will.

Got to go and finish watching Little Honey Boo Boo!
