BOOK TO MOVIE
BLOG CITY Prompt: Think of something (book, movie, song or the like) that you once loved but over time it lost its appeal to you. Tell us about it and why did your feelings for it change.

Books that were converted into major films or television series that I liked, or almost liked, after having read the books.

Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings: Amazing films, but they still didn't come close to the scope and detail of the books. I was always aware of the full-size human actors presented as little people with furry feet.

Harry Potter: Visually fulfilled most of my visions from the books. I still enjoyed reading the books.

Game of Thrones: A valiant attempt, but cannot come close to the visions presented in the books. What I imagined was better.

Almost always, the writer's vision is greater and more in depth than the film that tries to duplicate it in a few hour's performance. How is it that we can read for longer hours than we can watch movies. Are you a reader or a watcher?

Peace....>>>iggy*Boat*
