I have tried to summarize my observation with vivid and simple manner. |
1) Reluctance ~ Make a resolute commitment to your daily kriya yoga meditation practice. 2) Procrastination ~ Establish morning meditation as the most important priority of the day. 3) Failure ~ Make the best use of available time and energy by not depleting vital forces by excessive talking, worry, and worthless habits. 4) Superficial interest ~ Be sincerely intent on practicing meditation and attending satsang to rise above the mundane. 5) Superficial application ~ Kriya yoga techniques and methods should be used with full faith (conviction) and knowledge of their purpose. 6) Reading and talking ~ Reading or talking about, or using spiritual practices which are either not useful or are not appropriate. 7) Preoccupation ~ Interest in the philosophical spiritual opinions or new "so-called" advanced meditation techniques that were revealed to some self-proclaimed disciple of an Avatar in person or a dream. 8) Non useful social interaction ~ Wholesome interaction with others can be mutually beneficial, but excessive social interaction can deplete your energies that are needed for concentration. 9) Indulging in fantasy ~ Allowing the imagination to be uncontrolled, and allowing the mind to speculate on externals "miracles" that relate to spiritual ideas and stories is not useful. |
