Robots?
The third element on the list is metal. Robots are made of metal. Let's talk about robots.
What, if anything, do robots do for you, to make your life a little bit easier? Are there any tasks you would prefer a robot perform for you?

Manx Cat from Japan

Robots: Hmm! Yes, I could put a robot to work. I have wanted a Roomba for a long, long, time. It was once my dream to earn enough money to pay my college loans and hire someone to come in once a week just to vacuum the whole house. The Roomba has been featured in two detective stories I watched on TV last weekend.

As robots go there are people working on the challenge. I just read an article yesterday in "The Washington Post" about a scientist who is trying to build a robotic brain, that will respond, in a more human way.

And, there is the prototype car that is being built by Google. It does not need a driver. I think it may be in use in the next few years. I don't see a use for it in snow bound societies.

High schools and colleges give courses in engineering and robotics. There are competitions between schools involving robotics.

Why do we need Robots when so many people are out of work.? Interesting contrast, I'm sure Robotics will continue to be pursued. *Geek*
