Dramatic Occurrences: A Poem

Dramatic occurrences
make good short story plots
and intriguing poems.

Looking into my youth
almost everything
was a dramatic occurrence,
but at 68
these events
take on a different
shade of light.

Tuesday Morning: A Poem

A Tuesday morning appointment
with a doctor
made me realize how wonderful
and helpful
the rest of humanity it.
