Role Reversal
I have discovered I like having someone else cook dinner for me. I've had to work a lot of nights lately, and did not prepare dinner in advance for my dad. I made iced tea and maybe a vegetable and told him what else to fix last night. I knew he would deviate somehow. Today I only fixed tea and didn't instruct him in anything. I found myself looking forward to coming home to a late dinner and being surprised.

Granted he's not a good cook. He doesn't balance the foods. He likes vegetables, but he's not a low fat cook or a diet conscious person. I can count on most things being prepared the least healthy way. It's not what he fixes. It's just that I don't have to fix it. And his isn't any worse than fast food.

Every now and then I just want someone to take care of me.
