Collect moments, not things. Do you agree?

The question has been ask "Is it better to collect moments or thing?" Collected moments remain with the soul after it passes from this world. Moment of laughter and tears, of faith and fear, all go into decorating the garments of attribute worn by the soul as it ascends thought the worlds of God.

Collected Moments

I inhale the cool morning air,
as I walk around the block
and contemplate
the beauty of a Las Vegas morning.

I collect the sights and sounds of life,
say "Good Morning" to a neighbor lady walking to the bus stop,
watch the man with the dalmatian walking him,
I take a sip of cool water,
ans whisper a prayer of gratitude
for the moments I have collected
in the photo album of my memory.

Is it better to collect moments or things? It is better to collect moments because the memories and emotions of the collect moments go with the soul after the body dies. Things cannot cross the barrier between matter ans spirit, but emotions and memories can. If all we collect in this world are things then what do we have to take with us when we die.
