Gratitude

I can't begin to express my gratitude for the friends and family God has blessed me with here at WdC. I actually gave up hope of being able to maintain my membership because I had become temporarily homeless and had no Internet except for intermittent brief chances to do anything at a public library. Then a good-hearted person who I will not name here on WdC heard of my plight and saved my bacon. I thank them so much.

My homelessness is now over. I join WdC's birthday celebration with a celebration of my own. My celebration is that I will start sleeping in my own apartment tonight! I chose to be homeless for a few months because the situation I left was a bad one and being homeless qualified me for many supports I was not qualified for otherwise. Due to my short period of homelessness I now have a much better place to live, a good job opportunity, and my health is under better control. Sometimes you have to go down in order to go up!
