The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for DAY 940
What are your feelings about your comfort zone? Could you be happy to be living inside your comfort zone forever or would stepping out of it, at least once in a while, provide you with renewed energy and inspiration?

Outside My Comfort Zone

Outside my comfort zone
I find the writing zone
where my muse can run barefoot
across the meadow of inspiration.

Life outside my comfort zone
is a mind expanding adventure of discovery
where my soul can grow
and the scares of childhood heal.

The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for DAY 1420
When you expect things to happen--strangely enough-- they do happen. ~ J.P. Morgan Do you agree or disagree? Is this a norm in your life? Or do you fly by the seat of your pants?

In dictionary.com one of the definitions for expect is "regard as likely to happen"1, while one of the definitions for believe is "to have a conviction that (a person or thing) is, has been, or will be"2. You can expect something to happen, but unless you believe (have faith) that it will happen then it's not going to happen. Faith is the key to attracting what you expect and this works either positively or negatively. If you are superstitious and inadvertently walk under a ladder you will attract bad luck or negative events because you believe that walking under a ladder is bad luck. Alternately, if you're not superstitious and you walk under a ladder or a black cat crosses you path you won't be worried about bad luck occurring because you're not superstitious. If you want good something to happen you have expect and believe it will happen.
