The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 493
Who said romance has to be boring? Discuss your favorite romance story.

Romance isn't boring. It isn't all that exciting either, but it isn't boring. I don't particularly care for romance unless it's in a science fiction, fantasy, comedy, mystery, or horror movie/book. I also don't care for romances that describe the couple in bed together. I don't mind a little of graphic content in a chapter, but when it comes to every chapter or every-other-chapter I tend to skip those parts as much as possible. One or two GC scenes helps carry the plot forward, but after that I don't think it adds anything to the plot line.

I liked Pretty Woman, Adam's Rib, The Philadelphia Story, Some Like It Hot, and It Happened One Night. I think of those five my favorite was Some Like It Hot. All of those I saw on television because I seldom go to see romantic comedies in a theater. I usually prefer to see science fiction and fantasy movies in theaters, but not romantic comedies until there' some sort of science fiction or fantasy plot.
The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for Day 1423
Storm preparations are necessary, what do you do to prepare?

If I were preparing for a storm I would pack a backpack or something with certain items that I could carry with me in case I had to run. I would have flash light, batteries, a manual can opener, duct tape, a sowing kit, a first aid kit, my prayer book, my cellphone and charger. I think bottles of water in the car along with canned good (a manual can opener isn't much good without something to open). I would take the duct tape because every survival kit should have something in it that is multipurpose. Duct tape is the most multipurpose item I can think of. I think I could also take some super glue. I'm not sure what I'd use super glue for, but I'm sure it would come in handy.
