"I did it for the money." Discuss your reaction if someone said that as justification for their actions.

I can understand someone being so desperate for money that the person will do anything to get it. However, just because I understand the motive doesn't mean I think it is justification for committing illegal acts. There are other ways to solve the money situation besides committing illegal acts. Fortunately, the only time I have to worry about determining the justification of someone's motive is in jury trial. I'm responsible for determining the justifications for my own actions and motives not those of someone else.

What is your favorite weather or meteorological phenomenon? Why is it your favorite?

It's beginning to get cold here in Las Vegas. The temperature at about 8:42 AM is somewhere between 41 and 45 degrees with a slight wind so we also have a windchill factor. There isn't any snow in the Las Vegas valley, but I suspect there may be snow on Mount Charleston. If the mountain doesn't have snow today it soon will which will make the skiers and snowboarders happy. I like looking up at the mountain and seeing it covered with snow. The problem is when the mountain is covered with snow then its cold in the valley. I and my arthritic joints prefer warmer temperatures. I'm not crazy about triple digit temperatures either. My ideal temperature is some where between 75 and 85 degrees.
