In Time Magazine, there is an article titled “Science Points to the Single Most Valuable Personality Trait.” Regardless of what the sciences or anyone else says, what do you think is the single most valuable personality trait and why?

Character Traits

Faith is the most valuable character trait anyone has because it transforms inaction into action. Faith is both a spiritual and material attribute because it is necessary to get through each day without jumping off the nearest building or cliff. Individuals have to have faith in themselves and their abilities in order to succeed. The soul or spirit has to have faith in God or some form of universal power in order to find tranquility in the changes and chances of outrageous fortune. Faith is necessary for the survival of the individual and of humanity in general because without some form of faith there would be no accomplishment or progress.

Miracles

It could be God's Most Great Name
intoned in the first light of day
that transforms the darkness of night
into the morning glory of praise.

Perhaps it's the aroma of coffee
wafting on the morning air
that changes fear's brown study1
into assurance and bravery.

What ever generates these miracles
makes each moment
a joyous song.
