Prayer for a New Year

Oh Thou,
The Glory of Glories,
Make this a year of peace.

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 1028
Since we are in the first week of 2017, what do you think “a fresh start” is, and can there really be a fresh start for anything or anyone if that thing or being has had some kind of a life before?

A Fresh Start

What does "a fresh start" mean? A fresh start begins with forgiveness and letting go of the past. This doesn't mean you have to forget what happened because forgetting a wrong doesn't make it right anymore then forgiveness rights a wrong. It means that you are letting go and not allowing what happened in the past to dictate your future. Forgiveness has very little to do with the one you are forgiving. Forgiveness is an act to assist an individual's spiritual growth. One forgives and then moves on into the next phase of existence ready to learn new lessons from the present and the future.

Fingers

Fingers
are the connection
between mind and pen
or mind and keyboard.

Mind
is the connection
between soul and fingers;
it directs while the fingers move
across the keyboard or the page.

The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for DAY 1509
“My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.” ― Nikola Tesla What do you think that Tesla is referred to "in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration" in this quote? Where do you obtain inspiration?

The Core of Knowledge

What is this core
that pulsates at the center
of the universe
illuminating soul and mind
with inspiration?

For me
it is the Divine Spirit
generating strength
with the light
of inspiration and knowledge.
