Transitive verbs
Writing Classroom

The subject today is transitive verbs. A transitive verb is a verb that does not necessarily need a direct object. "I built."

The assignment today is to write three sentences using just transitive verbs.

Then rewrite those same three sentences using direct objects. Here are mine.

I pushed.

I walked.

I drove.

I pushed the wheelbarrow.

I walked all the way home.

i drove a semi-truck.
