JAN 16--Writing for an Audience
Written for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS with prompt: Actress Ethel Merman, born on this day back in 1908, once said "I can never remember being afraid of an audience. If the audience could do better, they'd be up here on stage and I'd be out there watching them." How does this quote relate to your blogging? Do you write for any particular audience?

First, here a video of Ethel Merman singing, "There's No Business Like Show Business." *Smile*

Now, as for my blogging and who I write for, I suppose it depends on which entry. Occasionally I write with my followers in mind, but since I don't have that many, it doesn't happen that often. Sometimes I write just for me because, well, I feel like it. Then there's been lately, when I'm writing for the 30DBC. I might not have included a video of Ethel Merman if it weren't for this challenge. Actually, I'm SURE I wouldn't have because it's only been because of this challenge (earlier in the month) that I learned how to embed videos. I'd tried previously, but just couldn't figure it out for some reason--even with the Writing101 instructions. lol But because of the "competition," I decided to give it another shot a week or two ago. I struggled and struggled and FINALLY figured it out. Now, as long as I embed something regularly, I'll be able to remember. *Bigsmile*

Well, since I claim that lately I've been writing for the 30DBC judges, I suppose I should nicen things up with some color. Here we go...
