Monday's Meditation: Echoing Through My Mind
Monday, January 23, 2017

It's been a long busy and cold day here in Las Vegas. This morning De and I went to the bank to deposit the checks my sister sent me. Then we went to Jeffy Smog for a smog check. Our next stop was the DMV to renew my license plate. The wait in the DMV wasn't very long so we stopped at a store that makes sub sandwiches to order and purchased our lunch. We came home, ate our lunch, and then I finished a couple of reviews I started before we left the house.

This morning I responded to the blog prompts from "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS and "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise. You can read those in "Motivational Monday: Motivation and Inspiration and "Monday Morning January 23, 2017. This afternoon I did some surveys, edited a novel chapter and made an entry in my offsite blog. I still have a few things to finish, but before I do that I'm going to respond to the "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for today. At least I will after I have a bit to eat.

The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for DAY 1530
Pick out your favorite inspirational, motivational, or spiritual quote and write a poem, prose or monologue about it. Please include the quote and who said it in your post.

A quote keeps running through my mind which is good because it isn't a song. I'd much rather have a quote flowing through my mind then a song. This quote is a prayer that I memorized several years ago. I don't know which book Baha'u'llah revealed it in, but I have a copy of it in a small notebook I use to put scripture in that I want memorize. It's just two lines and it says:

He who puts his trust in God, God will suffice him;
He who fears God, God will send him relief.

Words reverberate
Echoing through mind and soul
Giving comfort
And confidence that
Trust in God
I sufficient food
For my spirit.
