Fight or Flight
"Fight or Flight

Just another of my many signatures

The Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for January 31, 2017 is "“Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves.” Rainer Maria Rilke
What is your take on this quote?"

My take is that acceptance is the answer to any problem I have in my life. I can sit around and stew in my own misery or I can accept that no matter what is going on in my life I am right where I am suppose to be. In the event of injustice it's only right that I take a stand but I can't afford to allow myself to get caught up in the accompanying misery and anger.. Anger is a luxury I must avoid. When I become angry I need to examine my role in it and determine what I'm not doing that I should be doing. Ii usually always find that when I'm angry it's because of a fear response. Something is threatening me in some way and the old flight or fight mentality is my answer to the threat. So yes I would agree with the statement Rainer Rilke made.
