"A word is dead when it is said some say. I say it begins to live that day." Emily Dickinson How do you interpret this quote?

The Spoken Word

Our minds and tongues give birth to our words. Our minds can be likened to the male sperm it inseminates the tongue that then speaks the word giving it birth. Once the tongue speaks the word then the word takes on a life of its own and spreads through the world creating either peace or war. If we don't put a condoms on our minds and thoughts then we spread slander, hate, prejudices and other mental STDs. How, you may ask, do we put condoms on our minds? Ask questions. Search for the truth of the words were hear without depending on what another person is saying. The problem in today's world is that many people don't ask questions or question motives. Instead the accept dogma as the unvarnished truth and therefor spread hate, prejudices, etc.
