The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise DAY 1075
Today, Hasbro made the announcement the thimble will no longer be part of the game Monopoly. It's been there since 1935. *Sad* Sew with that in mind*FacePalm* ( bad attempt at a pun) What board game is your favorite? Do you still play board games with family or friends? How do you feel about so many of the games be updated?

Board Games

Board games
don't bring fame
instead they bring back
childhood memories
of functional and dysfunctional families
making happy noises
on snowy or rainy days.

The only board games I play are those that can be played by one person. I think board games need to be updated periodically to keep up with the technology and a new generation. If I do play Monopoly I will miss the thimble because it was easy to hold onto. I remember putting the thimble on my little finger when I was playing with my brothers and sister. I remember all the board games fondly because my siblings and I could play them without fighting.
