A Mine of God

Within each human
God has placed a mine of gold;
spiritual attributes that we can manifest
when we focus
our spiritual sight
upon the eternal beloved.

I contemplate the struggles I've went through over the past 70 years. I give thanks to God for the tests and difficulties that have engendered those struggles because they have helped me mine the gold that lies within my soul. I still encountered tests everyday and will continue to encounter them until the day my soul and body separate. Life in the physical realm is intended to help the soul grow and practice spiritual attributes that is the gold hidden within the mine of the individual.
