The "Dew Drop Inn"  prompt for April 28—a favorite specific tree (in honor of Arbor day)

My Favorite Superhero Tree:
The Cottonwood

All trees are superheroes
their leaves
release oxygen into the atmosphere
and their roots prevent erosion
by holding the soil in place.

"The Cottonwood Tree"  is my favorite superhero;
its "Amber Leaves"  dance
in the wind of my memory
bringing back to me
the joy of my childhood
with all the "COLORS OF FALL" .

"A Leaf in the Wind" 
brings back "Cottonwood Memories" 
of my favorite superhero tree.
