Tuliptime

Meet me where the road ends
in some abandoned meadow.
Greet me by a gravel path
strewn with golds and yellows.

Sing of nature's bounty,
of lilacs, iris, willow.
Bring me red bouquets, dear.
It's tulip ... time ... to mellow.
