What's trending where you are?

What's trending in my neck of the cactus? I don't know! I don't care! It's the first Friday of June, so a First Friday event is probably planned in the arts district. Since it's after dark I won't attend because the light in my car acts weird. Sometimes the want to work after the sun goes down, and sometimes they refuse to work. Therefore, we don't drive after dark. I'm not sure about what else is going on in this lovely town because most of the events I'm unable to attend for one reason or another.

Yesterday, I went to Supercuts for a hair cut. I got a pixie cut which will last me the rest of the year. As I told the stylist, I only get my hair cut about once a year. It grows fast, but I like to wear it long in winter and short in summer. Normally, I get it done in February; however, I decided to wait a little longer this year because money was tight in February.

All of us have slumps and getting back on track varies drastically among us so let's toss ideas around on how to stay motivated with our writing. What works best for you?

How do I get back on track? Considering I managed to get derailed sometime between April 1 and May 31, I have to get back on track. It may not look like I got derailed because I've managed to post on writing.com everyday, but I did get derailed on other things I want to do. I need to finish editing a novel and get back to doing some surveys. I also have to do some housekeeping around my desk and in my bedroom. I think the best way to get this stuff accomplished it just do it. I need to suck it up and do it.
