Midweek Reflections on Buying Happiness
Wednesday, August 30, 2017

"Some pursue happiness - others create it."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 1262
It's not a cliché that you can't buy happiness. In reality, the true gifts of life come from moments shared and beauty witnessed-laughter with loved ones, a glorious sunrise and a rainbow after a storm. What are your thoughts on this?

Buying Happiness

You can't purchase happiness, but you can create it. Happiness is a spiritual and/or emotional attribute with material components. An example of the spiritual or emotional part is love, while the material part is someone to love. There are other spiritual attributes that go into creating happiness, and every individual has to discover for themselves what these are. I know what creates happiness for me, but I cannot say what creates happiness for another person because happiness is something each human being has to discover for themselves.

If you're happy,
and you know it
attempt to spread the happiness
by smiling at someone
or helping someone else.
